THE most critical factor of a successful coaching relationship is that coach and athlete are a good fit. You'll find information on this page, and though out my website about me, and how I work. Philosophy

I believe that every human has unlimited potential, and that there are key components to realising that potential. The first component is your decision to achieve, the second your willingness to do the work, and the third is your commitment to consistently show up until you achieve the goal. 

What gets measure gets done so data, your focus, curiosity and feedback are also part of the deal. I am a high energy coach, and passionate about your success so we'll be clear from the start & use data as feedback and to measure some elements of progress.

Although data is important it most definitely is not everything. Your enjoyment of the training and racing is also a key component of both purpose and performance, be prepared to love every part of your journey.

Credentials

I understand how to train for Ironman & continually smash out pb's, along side a full-time job, single parent duties & a fulfilled life. I've been doing it for more than 15 years. So far I've taken more than 3 and a half hours out of my Ironman finish times, and I am on track for more big PB's in 2026. Not only that but I've learned to love every aspect of the process, changed my identity and found a lifestyle and formula that brings me peace, pride and joy. 

I have spent nearly 30 years studying human behaviour, leading, coaching, and inspiring performance both in business and sport.

Not only have I studied, but I have also 'walked the talk' of personal transformation. Driven by purpose in pursuit of joy and performance I have been guided and inspired by Sports & Neuroscience, Psychology & Performance Methodologies and Principals. 

So far have 15 Ironman races under my belt, with numerous more, alternatively branded Triathlons and excitedly received my All World Athlete Status (AWA) for my 2025 achievements.

I love to race abroad. I have raced in Austria, Emilia-Romanga Italy, Venice-Jesolo Italy, Lanzarote, Mallorca, Vitoria-Gasteiz Spain, plus a fair few in the UK, I've also qualified for Team GB European Champs.

How we will work

Coaching Contract

121, *in person once a month. Human connection and energy is important to me. We can do the rest remotely via text, Training Peaks,  WhatsApp or email but whilst we are getting to know each other & then when we are leaning into performance gains *in person connection matters. 

Minimum 6 month commitment - because we both need to be invested. When you invest you expect a return on your investment, you're buying a commitment to yourself and the person you want to become.

* in person can be virtual / remote / online.


Data Driven

What gets measured, gets done. We will establish your training zones from the start. You'll need a sports watch to capture your workouts & power meter for your cycling. You can attend my gym, equipped with Watt bike & Treadmill so we can lay down some FTP data, and get you set up tech wise at the beginning. Or we can get going with some starter sessions to include some FTP tests, so that we can establish your training zones.

I work with *Training Peaks which comes as part of your coaching package.

Goal Setting

Identity based & process goals. If you've never heard of them I'll coach you through it. We'll focus on casting votes for the person you want to become, the person that will finish the race, or celebrate a personal best. We will focus on the small daily habits that build to long term and sustainable success.

Whatever your dream, we will be working with self-pride, the momentum of success, joy & flow.
